Some of the Tokens of Hope were also hidden throughout the community in parks, public spaces, and other locations throughout Western New York. The idea was simple: if someone happened to be having a difficult day, facing a challenge, or simply needed a reminder that they weren't alone, finding one of these rocks could serve as an unexpected message of encouragement.
We intentionally left the rocks throughout Western New York neighborhoods in hopes of inspiring kindness, encouraging connection, and brightening someone's day.
Each rock carried its own unique design or uplifting message, reinforcing a belief that means a great deal to our team — that even the smallest gesture can brighten someone's day and help them keep moving forward. While modest in size, the message behind them was powerful: no one should have to face life's challenges alone. The Tokens of Hope quickly became one of our favorite parts of the initiative and gave our team another opportunity to connect with customers and our community in a meaningful way.
